🇰🇪 KENYA AWAKENING 2026

A Nation Touched by the Love and Power of Jesus Christ!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

What happens when ordinary people say YES to an extraordinary God?

Lives are transformed. Hearts are healed. Hope is restored. And eternity is changed!

In June 2026,

Commissioned For Christ Ministries traveled to Kisumu, Kenya, with one mission: to make Jesus known, demonstrate His love, and proclaim the life-changing power of the Gospel!

What we witnessed was nothing short of extraordinary!

Throughout our time in Kenya, we saw more than 800 people make decisions for Jesus Christ, 103 believers publicly declare their faith through water baptism, and numerous individuals experience healing, deliverance, restoration, and renewed hope!

But behind every number is a name.

Behind every testimony is a life. And behind every transformed heart is a Savior who loves beyond measure.

❤️ Reaching the Next Generation

One of the greatest privileges of our mission was ministering in four schools throughout the Kisumu region: Alendu Primary, Migingo Primary, Mbega Primary, and Nyagoto Primary.

Hundreds of children gathered to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. We shared the Gospel, prayed over students, encouraged them in their identity and purpose, and witnessed hundreds respond to the invitation to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

We weren’t simply reaching children for a moment. We were planting seeds of eternity in the next generation!

🌸 Honoring the Widows — Love in Action

Our hearts were especially moved through our ministry to the widows of Kenya.

During our Women’s Conference, we had the incredible privilege of ministering to approximately 300 widows, sharing the Word of God, praying over them, encouraging their hearts, and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by their Heavenly Father.

But our mission didn’t stop at the conference doors.

We traveled into the rural villages and bush communities to personally visit 14 widows who were physically unable to make the journey to the conference.

We entered their homes, listened to their stories, prayed with them, and brought tangible expressions of God’s love.

We witnessed the healing power of Jesus in remarkable ways, including one precious grandmother who, after suffering a broken hip, was able to walk and dance!

Because the love of Jesus doesn’t wait for people to come to Him. His love goes after the one who cannot come!

James 1:27 reminds us that pure religion includes caring for widows and orphans in their distress.

And we had the privilege of putting that Scripture into action!

🏠 Loving the Fatherless — Orphanage Ministry

Our visit to Neema’s Orphanage, home to approximately 85 precious children, was another unforgettable part of our journey.

We spent time loving on these children, sharing the Gospel, encouraging them, and reminding them that they are not forgotten.

Through fellowship, worship, prayer, and personal interaction, we had the opportunity to speak life, identity, and purpose over these precious sons and daughters.

Every child deserves to know that they are loved, that their life has value, and that their Heavenly Father has not forgotten them!

Our hearts remain deeply connected to these children, and we continue seeking opportunities to help meet their practical needs.

🔓 Bringing Freedom Behind Prison Walls

The Gospel knows no boundaries, and prison walls cannot contain the power of Jesus Christ!

During our visit to the women’s prison, we ministered to approximately 150 incarcerated women, sharing a message of forgiveness, redemption, freedom, and new beginnings through Jesus Christ.

We witnessed approximately 75 women respond to the Gospel and make decisions to follow Jesus!

What a powerful reminder that no past is too broken, no sin too great, and no life too far gone for the redeeming love of our Savior!

Chains may hold a body, but Jesus Christ sets the soul free!

🔥 Revival, Healing, and Baptism

Throughout our church services, women’s conference, village outreaches, and times of prayer, we witnessed the Holy Spirit move in beautiful and powerful ways.

Hearts were surrendered. Lives were restored. The sick received prayer and experienced healing.

Believers were refreshed, strengthened, and stirred with a renewed hunger for the presence of God.

One of the most unforgettable moments came when 103 believers were baptized in water, publicly declaring that their old lives were buried and that they had been raised to new life in Jesus Christ!

What a beautiful picture of the transforming power of the Gospel!

🍞 Meeting Physical Needs While Sharing Eternal Hope

We believe the Gospel must not only be preached with our mouths but demonstrated through our actions.

During our time in Kenya, we helped distribute more than 350 food bags to widows and individual families facing difficult circumstances.

Each bag represented more than food.

It represented compassion.

It represented hope.

It represented the hands and feet of Jesus reaching into communities with the message:

You are seen. You are loved. You have not been forgotten.

🌍 The Mission Continues!

Kenya Awakening 2026 was never about a trip, a team, or a ministry name.

It was about JESUS!

It was about the lost being found, the broken being restored, the forgotten being remembered, and the love of Christ reaching beyond borders, cultures, and circumstances.

We returned home forever changed by the people we encountered and the faithfulness of the God we serve.

To every ministry partner, prayer warrior, financial supporter, and individual who helped make this mission possible: THANK YOU!

You were part of every Gospel message preached, every child embraced, every widow encouraged, every prisoner reached, every meal provided, and every life surrendered to Christ.

The harvest belongs to the Lord, and we give Him ALL the glory!

The work in Kenya is not finished. The relationships remain. The needs are great.

And our commitment to making disciples and demonstrating the love of Jesus continues.

Because missions isn’t something we do. It’s part of who we are called to be!

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY! 🔥
